Mutiny at Sea

there's rage on the ocean
storm waves lick the land
where the sword's kiss
must draw blood
there the heavy spear
is thrust of hand
they spill blood in water
men spill blood by hand
warm blood clouds the water
cold blood stains the sand

they're fighting on the ocean
blood washes over the deck
when the heavy spears thrust
pierce's deeply into flesh
and the graceful sword's kiss
slices head from neck
blood paints the blade
blood soaks the deck

in the ocean the dead sink
deep beneath the waves
there sunken eyes stare
up from forsaken graves

there's a reckoning
on the ocean
where the sword’s kiss has tasted the blood of flesh
the spear is raised in victory dripping red with death

blood clouds the water
the abyss await the dead
when blood spills in water
blood licks over the land
where blood soaks the shore
warm blood stains the hand
