The Rare Bud

William H. Mozal III 1975 (Florida)

She moved through the rose pitch dark of the room
Where I awaited restive in the bed
Honored at the chance to pluck this rare bud
Her slender shoulders shed a sable slip
My eager eyes devoured her frightened flesh
Intending to claim her fresh womanhood
A garden grown where a ripe tree once stood
A vestal soul virgin to a man’s touch
No stranger to the heat of a bull’s blood
Freely exchanged for Aphrodite's charms.

She smiles putting one knee in our bed and
I pounce, my hungry hands swimming in her
Skin. My mouth meets her ruby lips before
I claim her shuddering sex … staking a
Strong shovel into the landscape of her
Quivering quim. Tenderly, then without
Mercy. Her pale thighs grip me at my waist.
She screams starlight, loud ecstasy, and then
My name. Exultant. Begging. Breathlessly.
Knowing herself conquered

Yet victorious.
