Lord, comfort me

Tasha Pass 1981 (Alabama)

Lord, comfort me, I know you can. Stay with me and hold my hand. Let me not worry about what I can't do; let me give it all to you.
Lord, if no one else is standing here, let me find comfort in knowing you're near. I don't want to do this on my own. With you beside me, I'm not alone.
All I want from you today, is for you to shine your light my way. I don't want to be in the darkness anymore. I want the key to Heavens door.
There's so much pain in this world today. Kids can't even go outside to play. Another place shot up today. What can I do besides pray?
Lord, please comfort me. In a world  so blind, I want to see. I can accomplish anything with you beside me.
