The Dreadful Present

Today, relief embraces the blind!
No blood pools he ever observes;
Nor atrocities around him he witnesses,
To him, darkness has become calm and kind.

In solace now the deaf may dwell!
Can he hear the despondent tones of the sobbing world?
Or listen to the sorrows of others whose burning desires got shattered?
May his dead ears save him from hearing the present terror-well!

Know what piece of peace now the dumb has!
His silent tongue will never be a reason to deceive any,
Nor in vain matters he'll meddle with any.
To abstain from the worthless public, his mute mouth has given him a chance!

Today, how an abled feels?
He witnesses the present, so let him weep;
Cause light has become darkness so deep!
May Almighty protect both the abled and disabled from painful ordeals!
