I Am A Woman

I am a woman. I am God’s gift to the world.
My value far exceeds any diamond, ruby or pearl.
See, God went all out when He created me.
In order to do this, He had to put man to sleep.
Like David, I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
God even chose me out of a world of lost souls and my life he saved.
He allowed me to struggle and cry and go through hard times.
He knew I could take it; just look back at the women before my time.
I am strong, independent and have God in my life.
So, not just any man can step up and call me his wife.
For my worth comes with a price that is expensive, you see.
It is hard to find a woman who is as virtuous as me.
Now don’t get me wrong; I love a “got it going on” brother.
And for the child God trusts me with, I will be a good mother.
But that is not the reason God has placed me here.
I came to spread His word and draw people near.
To do that, He gave me discernment and women’s intuition.
I am a woman after God’s heart; I am a woman on a mission.
Look out world for you might not see me coming.
I am God’s gift to the world: I am a woman.
