The Death Knell

THE DEATH KNELL
Listen to the toll of the bell                      A sound of threnody foretold
An undertaker tolling a death knell  Listen to the requiem how it was told

  A life of many decades
  In her prime brutally murdered
In a passage of bloodletting arcade                             A life carefully sired and 'mothered'

From onset you are cast to be great
Alas! Your greatness is your albatross
As melancholy laden you with no rate
Yet you Still bear your cross

  Today the sound echoes
Far across and beyond horizon        The mourning passage of a great ethos
 That transcends all season.

Adieu Regina !

For My sister, Regina Fumbi Kehinde(nee Daramola) who joined the saint sometimes ago
