Character of a Nation

The grief of this nation,
Wells tears within our eyes;
To suffer such great losses,
Of families, friends, and ties.

One family lost a father,
Another lost a son;
With courage, support our leaders,
To do what must be done.

This Cry is not of vengeance,
Or fear, to tear us down;
It´s one of heartfelt sorrows,
Standing tall, holding one´s own ground.

Now as this nation comes together,
In what we do and say;
Just know that we mean business,
My country, My nation, the U S A !!
