Imaginary Mate

Jedaiah Man 1982 (Philadelphia)

So I'm sure you don't care,
But I wrote you a poem,
It's all about when,
We talked on the phone,
I tried to be nice,
I tried to be real,
Because you can't see me,
You left me alone,
You blocked all my calls,
After that frightful day,
I sent you some flowers,
Then when straight to bed,
I woke up in tears,
It felt so damn real,
That I was once happy,
And you was so real.

Jedaiah Man

Over 20 years high enough from the work I do I find myself writing when I’m not working, but being up in the sky as I do the work that I do and love what I do to, so if you was to question my skills and didn’t understand what I said then it’s probably because you don’t really care. But this not about you we talking about me and the person that I am. I think I’m a friend at the end of the day but I’m a father before anything. It’s cause I got to kids I be all in my head about how I’m going make things right for them, so as I do what I do & people question what I do I just tell them what I’m talking about. more…
