My december

My month is a beautiful end of the year...December
With rainbows and colors- red and amber;
It is the sign of start of the end,
End of all sorrows and beginning of new numbers.

How much fragrance this month brings,
with soothing winters, cold and breeze;
With lots of tea cups in the blanket,
people sit together and love to freeze.

 The sun blooms and sunshine makes me refreshed,
The rays on the face look so beautiful;
My work keeps getting done as on every other day,
But happiness in this month is unforgetful.

Everyone is home by the evening,
having chit chats with family in closed doors;
Such  an icy silence is found everywhere,
that even a pin drop can be heard from distance on the road.

Kids, teenagers and adults,
find it struggling to even wake up,
But once ready and well-dressed,
they look elegant in well knitted sweaters and blazers.

As my month passes I feel sad,
that it will  come after a  year,
But on the other side people are so happy,
 as they are approaching towards their New Year.

Months keep passing, each month is special,
We are so lucky that poems can be written for each month;
And thats why I am so thankful to December,
that I am able to write one for my month.
