Far, that's all that I could say, it was far, far away,

Far from civilizations where children play.

For this was a place full of misery,

For if you were here, a long time you would be.

 

This is the place where if you were a Jew,

You would be taken to feel nothing but blue.

This is the place of black and grey,

This is the place of misery all day.

 

This is the place of more than just misery,

This is the place of lots of mystery.

This is the place where no help was to come,

This is the place where friendships where undone.

 

This is the place where the birds go quiet,

This is the place of a daily riot.

This is the place that was vile and rotten,

This is the place that will not be forgotten.
