If I leave a lavender trail of sorrow
Listen
I will remember you.
If the wind blows
Through the mouth of a flute
My fingers will find the keys.
If snow falls in the meadow
And buries your breath
I will breathe for you.
If winter sits quiet
And watches you die
I will close your eyelids.
And you will know
Nothing more than before
Except that you were touched.
