Drying Off the Counter

Drying off the Counter
DeDe A. Reid

Splish splash they wash their hands, and wet up the counter, floor, and sink.

Drying off the counter would be nice for the next person, don't you think?

Setting your cellphone or purse down into something wet, what do you have to gain?

Nothing!
Wash your hands, and dry off your splash; and stop being a messy pain!

Tracking through from off the street in dirty slippers, boots, and shoes.

A slip and fall from all their splash - that hit the floor, is not very good news.
