Dream of Visiting

To go to the land of milk and honey.
Odds they  overcome
Insults we  bear
A point to prove
Nothing left to Spare
Made to wait on the Streets
Beggars seem like kings
At the plight of these with low esteem.
Called an Alien
Goes to the counter
Fearing rejection
Judged mocked and ridiculed
In the resume it should include
Summoned at random
Willing to obey any command
Like a Criminal who's part of a chain gang
Is made to stand.
The tone is impolite

Accent is bizzare.
Still wanting the approval.
Unfortunately is who we are.
.Programmed by their marketing
Unworthy goes there flocking
Answering every question
Thinking it is their redemption.
Students Workers and Gurus.
Abide by their standards set to follow thru
Brushing aside their
 tradition.
Still don't know what is the compulsion.
Go with head held high
Never swallow your pride
Showcase your stride
Question his right
Reject his offer
Baffled he will be at your gesture
Probe  his pedigree
