I Want You

Ariho Isaac 2006 (Kampala)

I WANT YOU

You fill my heart with pleasure
You quench in my soul the flames of despair
You calm the tides of torment harbouring there
You sooth my pain with tenderness and care

I witness rivers of sheer delight
I witness the magnificence of life in the night
I witness the sweetness of love like fine wine

You bear the fine elegance of a queen
You bear the sweet freshness of green
You bear enchantment no one has ever seen

The fiery love I feel
The blaring thoughts that are real
The yearning that rocks my will

My ears thirst to hear you singing
My soul hankers for healing
My heart can't stop beating
My eyes forgot to cease tearing

For I want you!
