Dreams

When i turn to see
all that was the best of me
I see your face staring back

But when i look
deep inside your eyes
it takes my breath away

How can I feel this way
by just a glance at you
without the slightest touch

a warmth, thought only
possible by the suns rays
touch me in the deepest part of my soul

as refreshing as the the spring breeze
and the blooms of the flowers
it takes my mind to other places

so if it were to be
let it be, let it fill each other
until each are all we need

if it is not to be
then let the memory last
be it only in my dreams
