"The Shadow of Darkness"
I'm living behind my dark shadows
Challenged by the past untold
Yet nobody really knows
The sadness within me flows.
The burden is now heavier
As I grow old...
The chances are slim
No more room to amend faults unfold.
Tears might not come easy
For such heart been hardened and froze
No more sparkle nor joy that shows
Only pain and loneliness imposed.
Sadness is not the enemy
The past is what clings to me
Tomorrow is no longer expected
Only the shadow of darkness will be remembered .
