So You Want to Belong?

(c) 2004

“So you want to belong?
You want to be a part -
to be a member.

Religions
cults
gangs
politics
cultures
what part do you belong to?

Initiation rites -
baptism
boot-camp
sacrifices
and more.

Don’t you remember
that you already belong -
you are my children?

I give you life
to create your own story -
to act out your part here.

Your cultures
beliefs
religions
separate you -
to define yourself.

I am the Alpha and the Omega;
without beginning or end.

You are the Alpha and the Omega;
without beginning or end.
Your bodies are temporary!
How do you manifest your story?

Christians
Muslims
Buddhists
Jews
Confucians
Hindus
Agnostics…
You are?

All my children
creating
memories to be left behind
on earth.

You decide
on your heaven and hell -
I do not tell you what to know.

Know yourself!
Do unto others
as you would have them
do unto you!

Others have set rules
regulations -
to govern you and you others.

I do not judge!
I provide light and life!
You need not fear me!
We are!

You decide -
are you important to yourself?
How do you define yourself?

Life never ends!
You beget your beliefs -
you decide what you ‘must’ know.

You are all my children!
You all belong to creation!
What say you?

You say you want to belong -
want to be a part -
to be a member?”
