Inside out

Linda walker 1959 (Dover)

Look to the inside, not what you see,
Look at the soul, not the shell,
The outer is a shell that only the eye can see
The inner is deep and has more to tell.

The inner is beauty buried deep,
Open your heart let the love flow in,
It’s there to find, for you to keep,
To receive and give is not a sin.

Cherish the love that you receive,
Share your love and you will reap,
Love is only what the heart perceives,
True love is buried very deep.

Never give in when you’re feeling down,
Fight the fight, be brave and strong
Love will shine through and lift that frown,
Negative thoughts prove to be wrong.

Stand tall, hold fast fight your case,
Grab your chance with both hands,
Take your time it’s not a race,
You will survive, life will be grand.
