Yin Yang II

Wuncie

If we but thumb our noses at it,
It will succumb to what we posit.
Twist, cut, bite, nick it.
Kick, hit, push, shove it.
Beat and choke it
Soothe and stroke it
Into submission
And give it benediction.
So say theologians gay
Bent psychiatrists
Afraid of the fray
And plastic surgeons
Eyeing payday.
