Me or was me

Pieces of memory float back to me
In spaces I cannot see
Like a fleeting glance
I’ve forgotten the backward that was me
I get bits and pieces of that trance
I wish I could never see
I want to deny that this is me
I want another chance
Of this life they call me
Why should I accept this glance
I know I’m better then this
By chance
Can I rewind
Untwine
To a me that doesn’t accept sublime.  
If you are there, Hear my cry
Free me of this thought or thoughts of mine
Let me breath, deep without that which I see.  
Tell me I can start again
Regain
That purity of my life.
