It's A Matter Of Perspective
Donald James Kirby Von Koehler 1965 (Burien)
It's A Matter Of Perspective
Looking for a moment when you're in harmony with your dreams,
somewhere off in the distance you hear your inner screams.
Never actually aware that it's calling you from deep within,
losing was never an option you came in the world to win.
problems and setbacks are opportunities that come in disguise,
you can use them as stepping stones and reach for sunnier skies.
Take a minute for reflection to see every angle look for clues,
better choices lead to a better life and less singing the blues.
It's a matter of perspective this life and we all have different views,
don't beat yourself down by telling your self it's no use.
It's a matter of perspective-you are the master of your destiny,
open up your soul to love and open your heart to truly see.
we may be all seperate yet we are also all the same at heart,
matter and energy formed with love looking for a place to start.
programmed very young to ignore the things we really need in life,
has led down a spirally road that was filled with confusion and strife.
maybe we should ask when was the first time I really felt this way,
To discover our childhood scars and reveal what made them stay.
go through the storms the calm is on the other side the side we don't see,
It's darkest before dawn but going through the process sets us free.
It's a matter of perspective-as to what point of view you choose to take,
this is your life if you live it good-good can be the energy you make.
It's a matter of perspective-it's a lot deeper than meets the eye,
There's more to this life so never empty your cup-don't let it run dry.
