Thinking about you makes me wonder
are you for real or just a vision of my imagination
with your hair golden as the sun
and eyes bright as the stars on a dark nite

your loving smile warms me thruout
like the suns rays shining down
and your caring embrace
fills the soul with security and contentment

being with you, spending time together
whether alone or with family
reminds me of what i thought i once had
but in reality, it was never there

feelings long lost or discarded
seem to rush back into my mind
in my thoughts i do wander
slipping away from this world in a daydream

often i find myself without words
not knowing what to say or do
but within my minds eye
a clear picture i do see

but if you were to  leave
never to be seen or heard from again
you would remain in my soul
for an angel has touched my heart
