Who was to know?
The fall of me
Haunting charcoal faces smile
Showing up in all I do
Laid down in memories of tile
No escape from images it drew
Broken dreams laid like shards of glass
Cut through flesh of a fragile mind
Crushing all possible thoughts pure an true
An life engaged with you
Beaten betrayed I am my own worst enemy
And the care I left behind
