For what he believed in, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his life.
for who he had created, Jesus Christ laid down and picked up his life.

Martin Luther King Jr. died but he will rise in the resurrection.
Jesus Christ died and rose because he is the Resurrection.

Martin Luther King Jr. lived an extraordinary life.
for he patterned it after the life of Jesus Christ.
