Regrets

Every time i see you
I wonder what to say
I'd like to say I love you
but you don't feel that way

I'd give anything to go back
to the way things used to be
when my heart belonged to you
and yours belonged to me

If you knew the way I felt
I wonder what you would do
would you laugh and walk away
or would you say you love me too

I know I made a mistake
and regret it every day
can you ever find forgiveness
some how, some way

Your the only one I loved
and you said you loved me too
you're my soulmate, the one I need
how can I go on without you

If only I knew what you are thinking
when you look at me
is a friend or an old love
all that you really see

As I think, dwell and pray
I know what I'd say on my last day
for I only loved once, one time for all
for no one else could I ever fall

So with all I am
and strength I could gather
the only thing i would
say, tho it may not matter

I love you still, for always
and forever.
