Generic Poem

Kris Davis 1975 (Victoria)

I have no rhythm
I have no rhymes
It’s just me
Plain and simple
Dreams are gone
Hope has fallen
We’ve not drifted
But been pulled apart
You are the one
You are the one
I want to marry
I love you so dear
Tell me you’ll stay
Tell me you love me
Tell me it will be okay
I love you
