I remember you was the only person I could think about

I remember how cute it was when you was trying to get my attention

You was always trying to make me see that you loved me
But I was too blind and stupid to see that
I messed up with you
And Ik that I should’ve realize it sooner
I remember all the times I used to tell all my problems and feelings to you about other people
You’ll tell me I always have you and you love me
I thought you was playing tho I didn’t know you was for real
I realize that was my mistake
Now I’m owning it
Wishing you was here with me everyday
But I know that’s a dream and nothing else
I loved you for awhile but I realize that I couldn’t
I always thought we couldn’t be together

Don’t look sad
Hey hey would you want someone as broken as me?

You had every chance to love someone better
I told you many times before to leave me
But you decide you didn’t
I wanted you out my life but you kept on
I had my mind and heart in the clouds
I ain’t see I was hurting you
Especially when I was with other people
I remember the time you kicked me out
You called me stupid and told me it was wrong to be in the streets like I am
But I didn’t listen and I almost got myself shot you told me you couldn’t deal with me anymore
After that I left
But 5 mins later you called my phone telling me to come back
I remember I saw you crying
I hate seeing you cry
And it was my fault that those tears was falling down from your face
You was always there even though
I used to pushed you away
It’s sad that I miss you so much
I wish you was here with me
I’m regretting losing you
You always made me happy
You was the only one who really got me
But it’s sad how our relationship ended
We haven’t talk in 5 years
I wish I could get in contact with you
And tell you I’m sorry
I’m drinking bc it helps the pain go away
To be honest if you was here
I wouldn’t have a drinking problem
You was always my light
And I took you for granted
I wish I had more time
But it seems like I didn’t
I pray one day you will forgive me
Hopefully that day comes soon
