You are the moon, of course,
Reflecting light as if it was yours, watching,
Silent and alone like a root,
I hear the musicians cry,
Sweet lullaby sung by doves asleep in your calm soul,

The morning clings to you, my love,
You are like the June circle in the sky,
So warm yet so unpredictable,
And the mountains hide in your curves,
Rivers flow through you, matching the eyes of widows,

Clear skies do not follow you,
Lay with me,
In this field full of dreams and sea of souls,
Feed my thoughts with your warm breath,
Inspire me with your extremes, study me like art.

And now we are caught in the moment, trapped,
Encased in a world where love devours the needs of the many,
Just be with me,
Tonight beneath these stars, your stars,
These shine for you, the light incessantly resonating in your skin,
Just be with me, tonight, beneath these stars,
Forever in this moment.
