You, are the moon,

Appealing yet just too far away from me,

Also on the eyes of so many.

Though close enough to feel your presence,

To smile by myself at your every glance.

Your vibrant smiling face is what I’ve always eyed,

Constantly imagined chatting and walking with you on my side.

I have been keeping this in me for quite a while,

But now just want to tell you, I’m not the usual selenophile.
