Friendship

Who said only Love hurts?
Did you try Friendship?
It certainly does, believe me...
Believe me, for I have my Friends,
Who can't hear refrains,
Who just love to claim,
Over my present, over my past, and all over me...

Who said they stay together for births, Did you try their kinship?
Never ever try it, You are You, so just be, Believe me for I had those gems,
Who just try to be our part,
And don't think twice before depart, They just serve their selfish motive.
They mend us, and then break us,
and then smash us till we fall apart.

Did I say something wrong?
Oops! Sorry but I was caught along,
I waited for them day-long,
But I think I didn't have my headstrong.

I heard a knock again at my door,
I think they have come back for me, Suddenly my brain asked me, "But what for?"
Alas! I didn't have the key.

Sitting by a pond, I saw a few mates, Smirked my mind, I think they are doing great,
But “How long?" My heart asks every time,
Some friendships are definitely not the good old wine.
