2020/03/10 ~ I Loved You

Cheyenne Seaman 2003 (Philadelphia)

You know I loved you, Boy
But ya played me like a fiddle.
For you, I was a toy,
The answer to some new riddle.

Bets on me, you have made
But you have no second time.
I hope all those bets you have paid,
Be it a million or a dime.

I really couldn't care less
Since you've shown your true colors.
I'll stay and fight my demoness
But never again for your honors.

So now I must move on
And get over my broken heart.
I will not say that I'm wrong
As of my life, you've no longer a part.

Wishing this pain away
    I go into oblivion.
I know I'll be okay
Once this battle I have won.

Not thinking of the past
Is harder with a broken heart.
You swore this love would last
That from me you'd never part.

For millions of years,
    You promised you'd be there.
Well, now that you're not here,
Those memories should turn to air.

I really have no clue
How to heal from a broken heart.
So, Boy, let me tell you
That you will never have a part.
