Set before them
Mark cloutier 1972 (Kaneohe)
Set before them
In line of the times
In space and light of mind
Enters those who go before
And those who return
Resume in time so soon
And present in past and future
Is that which counters
Their moves in stagnant
Action that serves no words
Mindless of the subconscious
Of a sleeping mind that awakes
In times of present and future
Of present lives short lived
And without breath
And without taste or smell
Sensible only in fear and misery
Which is never absence of lust
Only love of the light of life
Which they cannot be saved
In its ignorance
Of verses internal or external
Of those in absent of its funeral
