The Watcher

Daniel Millard 1976 (Medford, OR)

From an early age
I was aware of something
Looking down upon me
Watching

The watcher waits
No need to interfere
Sun fire for moon rain
Certainly safe
Beyond stars and planets

Great Spirit
I call out to you
Inside
I cry out for more
Something real
Oh Great One
That I may be used
Give me purpose
My spirit leaps at the thought
I sense spirits
Around me
They guide me and pull me
They direct me and move me
I wish to harness this power
Energy
Love
Peace
Joy
Understanding
Longing to reach out
Hungry to give
Starving to love
Creating white light energy
Walking in your canyon
An eagle flying high
Springs of crystal waters
Trees and the air that we breathe
Moving mountains
To fill this great divide
Between this earthly realm and
Where it is you exist
