And then fade of view

Mark cloutier 1972 (Kaneohe)

Enter without and leave within
Replace the day
With the night and fade into the moon
And cause the sun to fall
At a word of peace
And a undisturbed look
Of a picture captured
In a space and place
Of a time soon removed
From view of the truth
As those who believe
Are deceived by memories
Of things unseen
And a scheme of simplicity
As complex shapes reveal a fierce face
Of laughter over a matter
Of chance and circumstance
As they dance into the night
And the fire of the day
And then fade of view leaving the truth
