The Quest

How brave is she
who ventures out
on her steed of discontent
to slay the dragons of despair
and bring the light
to the darkness there.

Demons she faces everyday
In guise of angels flying high
but her intuition is seldom wrong
from other lifetimes lingers on.

The mist rolls in
and the mermaids sing
of the oceans endless possibilities
she can conquer fear and let love win
 as the ageless battle for courage begins.
