Droplets

It’s so pleasant in the
quiet places of the fountain. Kept
so clean and
clear.

Opps, where are we going?
Oh, down into the darkness.
But still
moving.

Incredible speed, pressure,
squeezing us,
for some unknown
task.

Where are we headed,
what will happen to us?
It’s uncomfortable,
too close, then it’s over.

Over the edge, flying through
the air____ laughing,wondering,
who empowered us with such
possibility?
