Dawn To Dusk

The sky’s aglow - magnificent sunrise.
Chirp, chirp, chirp - the birds sing - we arise.
The sun shines bold and bright.
Dew drops glisten - blossoms open to the light.

Bees, butterflies flutter around.
Where scent and nectar abound.
Nuts, nuts, nuts, many up the tree.
Squirrels hop and jump in glee.

Quick - jump branch to branch.
Oh! What joy it is so munch
Hop, hop, hop, bunnies are out.
Look for carrots - no doubt.

Chipmunks playfully running around.
Await nuts that fall to the ground.
Dark clouds are forming in the sky.
Tired birds homeward fly.

Bunnies scamper back to their burrow.
Squirrels wish for tomorrow.
Sleepy Owls peep from their shroud.
As the sun hides behind the cloud.
