I wish I'd said

Gerald Murray 1972 (Cape Town)

I wish I’d said: by Gerald.Williams

Life got its ups and down
All you got to do is just look around
Look around and you will see
How powerful you can be
With everything that’s going on
There no time to feel down
I wish I’d said that famous word
That touches your heart and every nerve
That words that only you would understand
That the creator all this time had a plan
I wish I’d know what I can say
In every manner in a truthful way
Live life to the best you can
Love your family bring change in a land
A land that once was in demand
Have we forgotten Uncle Sam?
I wish I’d said that I was alright
What happen to our mother land?
Can someone please make me understand?
I wish I’d had the right words to say
A prayer today will be okay
Don’t be down hold your head up your future will be bright and you alright
