"My bed is lonely with out you"
Wendy Mitchell 1981 (West Liberty)
My bed is lonely without you in it
Oh how I miss the moon light stars gazing at night from my bedroom
As I ask myself what did I do to deserve this hurt in my black core heart
As I see the red glistering rose peddles on my bed that fade away because of the love I have lost from the war
The war has took you from me since I wear your golden ring on my hand I once more cry out until my heart turns to stone missing you as I wait for years for your return I realize that you are no longer here you are in heaven talking to the angles and Jesus I see the glow on your face telling me you are once more safe in heaven s arms rest in peace brother
