Moment of Madness

A moment of madness came today,
When you said you were going away.

I begged to differ, and told you so,
And in the end you did not go.

It was up to me to change your mind;
I did it well, I think you'll find!

I severed your head and made a mess,
And I'll have to clean it up, I guess!

At least there's no more talk of flight;
Just you (in two pieces) and me, uptight!
