***

They deceived her Saying: she is beautiful
And the beautiful are tempted with praise,

Does she pretend to forget my name
When many lovers fall in her love, and grace,

If she sees me, she turns her face away
As if there were nothing between us anyway
A look, smile, greeting, talking,
Appointment  and a meeting without delay
Then a farewell that can be a remedy
Or farewell that may be a disease
When we were one day, do not ask
How much were we in love
Having what we like and what we please
And over us, chastity is a watcher,
Temptations got tired of our chastity
She tried to debauch me saying:
You poets! you are the most kind people
Fear Allah and have mercy on the heart of maids
As their heart are changeable, Unstable, and jumpy.
