El Parral

Luis Enrique Jimenez Jr. 2000 (Los Angeles, California)

Son las tres de la mañana
y la banda sigue tocando-
con todos felices,
las mujeres bailando-
ni siquiera se dan cuenta
que están castigados.
Pero siempre hay un curioso
que encuentra la escalera,
y poco va realizando
que los pisos van pa' abajo.
Un sueño lúcido-
pecado en cada piso-
cuanto más bajo va,
lo peor que se pone.
