God Talk #5

God?”
“Yes Joseph. I am here
and you are dear.
What can I do, but to lend an ear.”
“It’s started again and I fear,
things will get queer out there!”
“What do you mean
and don’t be so keen!
I want to know what you have seen?”
“Every four years we have this election
subject to nonstop inspection and dereliction.
We scream and shout and run about!”
“Why, what is this thing that gets all of you stressed and pressed?
Is it a doomsday reckoning
or end of days blessing?
One way or another,
you will soon be free of all your stupidity
and duplicity!”
“No! No! No! Oh Great Creator
of the misguided small creatures of humanity and profanity!”
Nothing like that.
More of a tit for tat.
I explained to his disdain.
“One side says their great
and the other says they hate.
Nothing both do,
seems to placate,
but only separate and instigate.
One side is red and the other side is blue.
Both sides, frankly do not know what they do!”
“Yes. I see the dilemma!
Both sides need an enema!
So full of shit and both unfit!
This will surely acquit,
your anger and constipation
with all your frustration.
A remedy to clean you through
and through of all you do!”
“God?”
“Yes, Joseph!”
“I bow in utter amazement
in such purity of thought
and so on the spot!
To clean our behind will make us kind!!!”
He is an amazing God!
