Not A Second Chance

He remembered her love
Looking at her so sad
All he can think of
Is the good times they had
  Deep in his heart
  He loves her so
He can't cope with the part
  Of letting her go
He tells her he loves her
He takes the ring from her hand
Promises forever
In his heart she will stand
  As he says goodbye
His eyes fill up with tears
  He must also say goodbye
  To all the wonderful years
Just as the wind
Began to blow
They lowered her casket
Down into the snow
Then the answer came to him
  The reason she is gone
  The question he'd been asking
  Wanting to know so long
It's because THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS
TO SO MANY ALIVE
WHEN FRIENDS LET FRIENDS
GET HIGH/DRUNK THEN DRIVE!

So true some times the reality of the answer hurts more then the pain of the loss.
