Why beg for forgiveness
If it's not freely given its not truly meant
No one should be made to beg for mercy
Simple words offer no proof of repent
The deeds of future actions will show the truth of intent
To make peace do not tippy toe the line it may be tugged by bedevilment
From one seeking retribution that is truly insidious revenge                  
Until you yourself has truly dealt with the demons of your dement
Then and only then will you know if you are safely in asylum or asylum of torment
