broken

Broken and in pain
I cannot sit and
wallow on this plain.

Seeking elevation to a higher level.
but I can't...

When I'm sleeping with
"the devil."

You choke the life out of me. Then you say
you wanna wife up me.

You expect to have
a life with me.

You say baby don't leave
but how can I stay
When I can't breathe.

Baby just come home...

You ask me do I love you
and I say I do.
but...
is it worth my life to be
a wife with you?

I think not so I'm gonna
do what you told me to do,
"baby just do you".

Baby just come home...

You beg & you plead for
me to never leave but,
I can't take this abuse.

Thinking that because you
come from a broken home
you can break me
so your not all alone.

Psychopathic, sociopathic, despotic
gripping round my neck.

Constantly puzzled with your strife
having trouble understanding you.

enigmatic...

"Baby I need you in my life
I want you to be my wife."

Baby just come home...

You want somewhere to be
but you don't belong
you say "baby just let me be me."

But when I do baby
I can't breathe.

Baby just come home...

You always sound the same
whether you be serious or you be playing.

Gritting your teeth
while you speak.

You wanna intimidate me
I shoulda known when
you started moving in at me.

Baby just come home...

You think I'm your property why would I be that if you can't treat me properly.

A ring on my neck is
not the same as a ring
around finger.

Repetitive notions help to
achieve repetitive motions.

You're sick in the head
and you won't believe
me till I'm dead.

Baby just come home...

But I won't I'm taking my life back,
and you can take that wife shit back.

you never loved me, you
never even loved yourself.

How could you...

You don't even trust yourself...

So imma take it in the breeze
While you sit there wishing I'd never leave.

Imma find that higher level
While he sits there on your chest...
"the devil."

I'm a lover and a fighter a true survivor,
and baby you'll never reach my love.

Higher than the highest heights
I'm leaving you
"devil."

Finally leaving your grasp, I just hope I make it
so I can gasp...
so I can breathe...
Imma let you be you
so I can be me...
I just wanna finally breathe.
