Uphold Me

I shall trust You, Lord,
with the heart of child,
as You teach me in Your Word,
upon it-- rely.

Tempter comes to steal away
that which You have  sown,
but the faith that You instill
roots will push and grow.

So impart that faith, o Lord,
that to mountains speaks,
that uncovers  and reveals,
in Your love and mercy, heals.
