Boy in the corner of his room

Frank Anthony Cimino jr 1963 (cleveland, Ohio)

Sitting in his room scared all alone, in the corner
Worried if he was gonna get attacked, hiding, in the corner
Trying not to breath not to make a sound, in the corner
Hiding trying to tuck inside himself, in the corner
Don’t dare cry, in the corner
Don’t dare make a sound, can’t be heard, in the corner
Planning how to escape from the hell within, in the corner
Hungry, and terrified, in the corner
Lost hope, nothing left, in the corner
Who’s there to help? No ones there to help, in the corner
Lost soul, why in this life he asks himself, in the corner
Learn to survive, learn to fight, in the corner
One more hell, one more tear one more cry for help, in the corner
Are you the boy in the corner?
