Opposites Attracts

I always ask myself one question,
Why am I in Love with you?
Now here's my confession,
And trust me, My words are true.

You have a smile that will brighten up midnight,
and your style is always on point,
Your personality always keeps me smiling,
even when I haven't had my joint.

I could go on and on about what makes you perfect,
but I'm not telling you something you haven't heard before;
your modesty is what attracts me,
and your humour is what I adore,
you keep me laughing when I'm sad
and calm when I'm mad,
you taugh me how to live
and I taught you how to love,
I prayed for a gift from the Lord up above
and Love from You was the gift that he thought was perfect to give.

We still have our moments of stress,
times when we wanted to snap,
but we always kept each other in line,
either with a joke or a slap.

Our Love is like a paradise island,
that many will never go,
taking in every scenic route possible
and just going with the flow.
