homeboy got capped in his knee
all those suckers got to flee
working out my legacy
follow your dreams

each captivating scene
learn in advance
give love a chance
time well spent in thought

linger on with a song
think as you continue on
through velvet eyes
it comes as no surprise

beneath the fallen tide
